Issues with accessing health care?

Hi all, I am currently studying a health degree, and I have been asked to research the topic of "issues with individuals with hearing loss accessing healthcare".

I was wondering if anyone would kindly share their own experiences of this ? and if anyone can point me in the right direction of statistics for this topic? that would be a huuuge help.
