Practical information and peer support for disabled parents
So, I'm a 26 year old disabled parent who loves my children but now they are both at school and nursery I'm desperate to get into work. I have a
Lot of qualifications but nowhere will employ me because i can't walk independently, so would struggle to get to and from work and get from 'a' to 'b' in the workplace. Do any of you work and if so what do you do? I'd love an admin or reception position preferably in the field of health and social care because that's my area of qualification. Is there any way I could get practical support to get to and from work or help in the workplace? X

Have you looked at the Access to Work scheme? There is information about this on the Disability Rights UK website. https://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/access-work
